Ruby Class enjoyed sharing some of their learning with family and friends in our class assembly today.  The children chose to share a phonics lesson including speed sounds, reading multi-syllabic words, Fred Finger spelling and partner reading.  Everyone was super impressed with the progress the children have made this year.  They also played a game of 'beat the champion' to show their knowledge of doubles and demonstrated their understanding of repeating patterns using musical instruments.  Some of the children were brave enough to read out their independent stories and everyone spoke clearly and confidently when saying something that is precious to them.  The children also shared some 'growing' topic work, PE skills and their competent understanding of sun safety.  It was lovely to hear the whole school sing our new 'success' anthem, Shine, to finish a very successful assembly.

Well done Ruby Class-you shone so brightly and we are all very proud of you.
